The Book "I am America(and so can you)" is one of the best books ever published. Stephen Colbert speaks his mind about several subjects, like: family, old people, animals, religion, sports, dating, education, media, race and class, and just about anything else that would have to do with the average American.
Stephen talks about the things that are wrong with some of the people today, how families aren't like they used to be, how in religion, he thinks that the only right is one is the Roman Catholic Religion, how the country is still racially and socially divided, the way the media will twist things to make something look good or bad, and how higher education may not always teach people the right things. He says that people should be more patriotic and to stop caring what all those people say, and to just believe what he says. He basically connects evrything to money and shows a prime example, NASCAR, which probably wouldn't even exist if not for sponsers.
Stephen really brings attention to some of the problems of this country, and that not matter who you are, your probably doing one of the things he talks about, which is wrong. His comments are offensive to alot of people, so if not someone who can laugh at themselves, then you probably shouldn't read this book.
