The book Star Wars: Slave Ship is the second book of a trilogoy in the bounty hunter series written by K. W. Jeter.
It picks up where the first book(The Mandalorion Armor) stops. A former dancing girl for Jabba the Hutt called Neelah begins her quest to find out about her true identity and name, which was lost when her mind was wiped. As she starts to travel with Boba Fett, a notorious bounty hunter, and Dengar, She faces many dangers that come with the bounty hunters accompaning her. Meanwhile, Kuat of Kuat is trying to keep control of his plant's source of wealth: Kuat Drive yards. The other clans of familys want to take away Kuat Drive Yards for their own selfish reasons, and they will stop at nothing.
Neelah finds herself overcome by Boba Fett and it seems that he knows her every thought. She will have to overcome this extreme advantage if she wants to regain her memory. Boba Fett, who is still weak from his bout with the sarlaac, must defeat numorous enemys to accomplish his goal. He finds himself pursued byKuat of Kuat and his power. After getting off Tatooine, They travel towards a distant sector of space to get a clue about Neelah's past, where another danger is awaiting them.
I found this book to be better than some I've read, but not in the top 20. Thebook can get confusing about when the event is happening because of the flashbacks that happen every few chapters. It is well written though. and has plenty of action to keep you interested. The author does a good job of describing the events and I liked their characterization methods. Overall, I enjoyed the book and give it 4 stomps out of five.
