Candy, a young adult living in the slums of New York, was a beautiful person inside and out. She was in and out of foster homes with her younger sister Caramel because their loving mother was strung out on drugs. Candy survived through cold and stormy nights with her talent. She could sing very well and was a part of a group with two other girls she met in various foster homes.
Everything seems to go great when the girls get a record deal through Hurricane, who is a producer and dealer well known all over the U.S. Hurricane wants Candy to be his main woman and to move in with him but doing so will not allow Candy to finish the important job she has started in L.A. Candy puts her trust in her clean mother to complete the task and go back to a normal life. While Candy is in New York getting acquainted to her new life style her mother decides to cheat on the job and mix business with her own pleasures. Now Candy's life is on the line and also in the hands of Hurricane because he paid to get her out of the predicament. It seems as if everything is good until she starts disappointing Hurricane.
