Maximum Ride: School's Out-Forever

Maximum Ride: School's Out-Forever, is the sequel to The Angel Experiment. This story begins right where the first one left off; having just escaped from the children's enemies, the Erasers. Fang is hurt form the previous flight and they all recluctantly resort to taking him to a hostpital. There, the kids are met by the FBI, who offer them and home and safety.Max immediatly says no, but after much consideration, and persuasion form the younger children, she gives in. The flock is then taken to Anne Walker's house, who is the head of the FBI. It was quite an adjustment for the children. Instead of sleeping in subway tunnels, there were comfortable beds; food was gievn to them instead of steeling it. The change was much appreciated until they realized Anne had enrolled them in school.

At school, the kids were thought of as peculiar as they tired to hid their wings. They tried their hardest to fit in and eventually succeeded. For motnhs, it continued this way with no trouble (aside form a blown up bathroom). This all changed in one day; the day the principal allowed Erasers into the school. Throwing away any normal reputation they had, the flock all opened their wings and flew away to escape their enemy. Oce reaching Anne's house, they realized Erasers had already beaten them there. With no other option, the children flew away from the only proper home they ever knew.

This edition to Maximum Ride does a wonderful job to continuing the story in an exciting and captivating way. Like the other books in the series, it ends in a cliffhanger. I give this book 4 out of 5 elephants, only because I feel I have more questions than answers after reading it.
