Mandalay Florentino is the associate producer of the popular talent show, American Megastar, (similar to American Idol). It's the big week to announce the final five and Mandalay is assigned by her boss, to go to one of the contestants, Amber Anderson's, home town of Daily,Texas to organize her secret reveal of top five. When she gets to Daily she finds it's a very small, southern town, where everybody knows everything about everyone, and somehow these "Dailyians" already know the secret. Mandalay meets some very interesting people, including Imagene Doll, who tries to help her as much as possible. She has to keep her identity a secret, until the reveal, but she meets a very curious, handsome man named Carter who also seems out of place in the small town. Mandalay is trying hard to keep this reveal and her identity a secret, but can she fight off all these reporters and make the reveal a success? What happens between her and Carter? and why is really in Daily? You'll have to read the book to find out for yourself.
