A young girl by the name of Tracy grows up in the streets of Philidelphia during the 1980's. Tracy was a smart girl with a smart mouth. She had great self-esteem and she was also BOY CRAZY! Tracy's parents went through a divorce and for most of her life her father had been the only male figure in her life. Because of the separation, Tracy started to experiment more with boys. From the ages of 13 through 19 she meets several different guys to teach her about herself in many ways. Some of these guys hurt and and teach her to be strong. She learns alot of life lessons and has to grow up quickly. She has her first sexual encounter and it eaches her responibility in many ways. Because of the many heartbreaks and lessons learned she molds her life form being a "Flyy Girl" to being a "Flyy woman" I really liked this book because young females can relate to it so easily. Some people have been through these exact things and it can really help young girl and teach them what is right from wrong. I also liked the lingo used in the book and I feel that the author made me feel as though i was there in every step of the book. I give this book 4 stomps because it really pulled me in and I enjoyed
