A Whisper and a Wish

The main character in this book is Christina (Christy) Miller. She used to live Wisconsin, but her and her family moved to California. She spent the summer before they moved with her Aunt and Uncle in California and meet alot of friends. When she was told that they were moving to California she was sad because she would be leaving her best friend Paula, but she was also very excited because she would be goingto school with all her new friends. They finally arrived to California after a long road trip and Christy was told that she wasnt leaving in the same area as she had thought. This meant that she had to go to a different school and make all new friends. The first day of school was not as horrible as she thought though, she meet three new friends: Brittany, Janelle, and Katie. She also meet a guy named Rick. He was the hottest guy at the school. Then one night she got invited to a slumber party where they waited till around one and went and rolled Ricks house. During this prank the parents heard something going on outside and came out. Everyone ran to the van except Chirsty instead she hid in the bushes. Rick came over and noticed her in the bushes so she ran as fast as she could. Her friends picked her up when they noticed that she wasnt with them and a big disscusion went on about what happened to her. The next week her aunt and uncle told her that they were going to Palm Springs that weekend and that Christyy could go and she could bring some friends. So Christy invited her three new friends which all could come except Katie. The week continued and Rick started invited her places and she started to like him.
