Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen is about two girls Halley and Scarlett. Scarlett and her mother moved in next door when Halley and Scarlett were both eleven. Even though Scarlett is much bolder and a lot more self-confident than Halley, the two girls immediately became friends. It all begins at the end of summer right before the girls junior year of High School. Halley is away at Sisterhood camp and Scarlett falls in love with this boy named Michael Sherwood over the summer while Halley is away. At Sisterhood camp the girls are supposed to be isolated from "pressures of society in order to improve themselves as women". They aren't supposed to get any phone calls especially not at midnight, but Scarlett needed her. Her first love whom she just slept with for the first time was dead. He died in a motorcycle accident that afternoon and then got hit by a car. Scarlett usually was a tough cookie, but that day she was an emotional wreck and needed Halley for the first time in their whole entire friendship. Of course Halley is there to support her and rushes home from camp to comfort her friend after the horrible accident, but Scarlett didn't tell Halley everything. When Halley found out that Scarlett and Michael slept together just a few days before the accident and that Scarlett was pregnant with Michael's baby she was speechless and the only words she could manage to say were oh my god. Scarlett later introduces Halley to a boy named Macon(who was Michael's best friend), and is very mysterious guy who doesn't care about school and is a "bad" boy. Halley starts to like Macon a lot, she thinks there is something amazing about him, but she can't put her finger on it.Macon soon asks her to be his girlfriend and of course she accepts.There is only one problem though Halley's parents hate Macon, and think that she would be a lot better off with her geeky ex boyfriend (His parents and him are good friends with her parents and they come over every Friday night to watch movies), Noah. Her parents soon forbid her to see Macon, making Halley want to be his girlfriend even more so she starts to sneak around with him after hours. One night Macon takes Halley to a party and shows her a side of him she has never seen before. Soon, Macon begins to pressure Halley into having sex with him,after she says no Macon freaks out on her leading Halley to realize that sadly Macon doesn't really love her at all. After the party Macon was taking Halley home then out of no where he went psycho and wretched the car.The accident left Halley in the hospital. Halley then of course breaks up with Macon and tries to focus on Prom Night. Her Scarlett and Scarlett's friend Cameron all go to prom together. After a few hours of non stop dancing Scarlett's water breaks and she goes into labor. Cameron and Halley rush her to the hospital. Hours later Scarlett gives birth to a baby girl, whom she names Grace Halley, after her best friend who helped her through it all, and stood by her when no one else would.

I would give Someone Like You 20 stomps, but the highest i can go is 5 so 5 stomps it is!!
